In recent days, scam messages have been detected, sent in the name of Vainion Transport. The messages have appeared especially on Facebook and have been targeted at least at passengers in the Lohja area. The scam message in question, in the Lohja area, offers travel cards with a special offer to mark the 95th anniversary of the company. However, it is possible that scam attempts are also taking place on our other routes.
Scam messages may promise financial rewards, ask for personal information or direct you to suspicious websites.
We will never ask customers for sensitive information to post messages or share competition prizes without a separate, official notification.
We ask our customers to be particularly attentive and:
- Do not open suspicious links
- Do not disclose personal data, bank details or payment card details
- Delete suspicious messages immediately
If you have inadvertently clicked on a link or given out your information, contact your bank without delay and, if necessary, report the matter to the police.
